Interesting... our defence was shocking under him but could that have been something else? So many what ifs from that era I could a dissertation on it.
Rubbish comparison. We didn't have fast quality players and Hansen's ideas required them. Both he and Mauger were misfitted to the players and the demands of the Prem. Poor choice of coaches.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

When NZ break through your line, they'll generally score and there's little you can do from that point to stop the touchdown because their support running, awareness and handling skills are incredible.

England prevented the line breaks and dominated the contact, Wales didn't.

Spot on jg. :smt023 Another reason that "emerged" from players who were here at the time was that the defence strategy was "over-complicated" with different responsibilities in different situations and that there were "too many voices" saying different things which confused matters for the players.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!
