Sam Harrison
I wish Sam and his family well and good fortune when he departs from the club 2020
He is a great servant for the club and I will miss his work rate and commitment. Is vastly underrated by some.

Re: Sam Harrison
I am sad to see him leave as he has given heart and soul to the club over recent seasons and been under-utilised IMHO, never first choice when an underperforming Youngs was available, which was always a mystery to me, ( I am a Youngs fan but he has had some shockers for Tigers)
However good luck, Australia's gain is Tigers loss.

Great player and top bloke.
Hoping our young 9's can make the step up.

Surfs bigger in Bondi than Torquay. Whatever he chooses to do I wish him all the best and thanks for his commitment.

From an article in the Telegraph early last year, i was given the impression he was happy at Leicester Tigers and would end his career here.Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 5:36 pmI don’t know how you can possibly draw that conclusion.
Surely if the club was the problem he’d have just moved club?

Heading for warmer surf has been Sam's plan for a looong time.TigerS2 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 5:53 pmFrom an article in the Telegraph early last year, i was given the impression he was happy at Leicester Tigers and would end his career here.Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 5:36 pmI don’t know how you can possibly draw that conclusion.

I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game

Re: Sam Harrison
If anyone uses LinkedIn, Sam has a little bit of a story there to explain what he's doing. Carpentry by the sounds of it - whatever it is seems to be away from professional Rugby. Like others have said, I always felt he applied himself to his role with vigour and tenacity. Last season there were some who failed to do this, so I will miss him. He has been a good servant for the club.

Yes he has. There will be tears in January.RichieB wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 6:54 pm If anyone uses LinkedIn, Sam has a little bit of a story there to explain what he's doing. Love Sam ,a true Tiger! I remember our feeble surreder at home to Saints last season when he was our top tackler as well as disrupting their ball at the breakdown as much as he could. If only we had 14 more like him that night!

Re: Sam Harrison
I think it's safe to say before he goes he will spill more blood at Welford Road. He could of been a starter at most clubs (& often should of been with us) but his obvious love of Tigers kept him with us.
Good luck to him & his family, it's a massive step for them.
