Daly, Watson, Tuilagi, Farrell, May, Ford, Youngs, B Vunipola, Underhill, Curry, Lawes, Itoje, Sinckler, George, M Vunipola.
Cowan-Dickie, Marler, Cole, Kruis, Wilson, Heinz, Slade, Joseph.

So, Ford back in, Farrell and Tuilagi move out one. Wilson replacing Ludlam on bench. Odd decision to go with both Slade and Joseph on the bench, who both tend to play 13. No natural back three cover.

Agree with last post. Why both Slade and Joseph? Is Nowell not fully fit?

Per earlier posts Slade out plus Nowell or Cockanasiga in for the bench would be better for me.

I think Slade can cover flyhalf and fullback?

Nowell is injured.

I'd prefer Cokanasiga over Joseph personally.

If Goodhue and Barrett joining the line is causing issues in the outside channels then JJ is a fantastic defender out wide though.

That’s a shame as I always enjoy watching him play. If only England had a full back of his calibre.

Me too, always liked him as a player. Good attacker, great under the high ball and fearless in the tackle too.

I think Wales in their current form are going to struggle against SA but more so now without him.

As for England, I think we have a great chance. I may have picked a slightly different team (we'd all pick something slightly different) but I think it's a strong team, good bench and more importantly we are just hitting form at the right time.

Timing when you hit your top form is crucial. Wales probably peaked during the 6 Nations and Ireland a year or so ago when they beat the All Blacks twice, doesn't buy them any points now. England are hitting form at just the right time. Only downside being that both NZ and SA are looking strong but England are at least on a par.

4 years ago England picked experience over talent.

Experience is only good if the players have talent and these players have demonstrated they have the ability to get to the final. Lead by coaching skill and tactical nous.

Well done. Job half done.
