Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2
Players out of contract this Season I believe are
Polota-Nau
Youngs
Genge
Cortes
Bateman
Gigena (?)
Spencer
Kalamafoni
Thompson
Harrison
Ford
Eastmond
Holmes (?)
May
Thompstone
Worth
I think, have most likely included some who are not and missed some who are.

Just a query, and I may be wrong, but isn't Mike Ford on permanent payroll as attack/backs coach?

I just copy and paste the previous list, and miss some things that needed updating.longlivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 1:52 pm Just a query, and I may be wrong, but isn't Mike Ford on permanent payroll as attack/backs coach?

Ford, Genge and May should be priorities for re-signing, also would like to keep the WRU and the regions off Holmes’ tail but it all depends on how much the Welsh want him and how much the he wants to play for Wales.RagingBull wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 1:51 pm Players out of contract this Season I believe are

with Holmes I don't know how long it was extended for might have been a standard 1 year extension built into the contract or it might have been a longer one.
Out of all those players Ford would be the only one I would say that would be pretty hard to replace regardless of cost.

I thought after the Bath game last year it was confirmed Holmes had signed a long term extension with Tigers.RagingBull wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 2:21 pm with Holmes I don't know how long it was extended for might have been a standard 1 year extension built into the contract or it might have been a longer one.

Tell a lie, it was after the Saints game at Twickenham. Only really fussed about Ford, Genge and May staying with the club. Could imagine some more players leaving end of this season too.RagingBull wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 2:37 pmcan't rememberLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 2:34 pmI thought after the Bath game last year it was confirmed Holmes had signed a long term extension with Tigers.RagingBull wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 2:21 pm with Holmes I don't know how long it was extended for might have been a standard 1 year extension built into the contract or it might have been a longer one.

Personally I would like to see rid any player who goes harping to the board, I think there are still some in the squad, I don't care who they are. There are some high earners who could do with earning their wage as well.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Sadly, Denton may now be removed.
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

Very much a personal opinion but I would hope we would do all we can to retain those in bold, try hard to retain those in italics and replace those in normal type.RagingBull wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 1:51 pm Players out of contract this Season I believe are

Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2
I'd agree with that, although Kalamafoni may have run his course by the end of the season. Depends on the progress of others.voice of the crumbie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 4:33 pmVery much a personal opinion but I would hope we would do all we can to retain those in bold, try hard to retain those in italics and replace those in normal type.RagingBull wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 1:51 pm Players out of contract this Season I believe are

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2
Max Malins is out of contract end of season. Think he would make a great 15 who can cover 10. Would also be an upgrade over Worth and let Hardwick concentrate on playing 12.
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2
I agree albeit I would put money on Sarries being as keen to keep him as we are George FordLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 12:33 pm Max Malins is out of contract end of season.
