Will be an interesting selection would be nice to see a bit of continuity of selection, but there are players that haven’t had any time yet.
I suppose selection for the saints game will be a pointer to the Worcester game

Jordan on a dual reg at Nottingham as well.

I'd missed Lavin and Gough going on loan to Yorkshire.

Gigena, TPN, Cortes
Green, Martin
Lewis, Boladau, Reffell
Simmonds, McPhillips
Hardwick, Thomas
Thompstone, Steward, SAP

Bench; Clare, Hills, Leitagaga, Spencer/Wells, Smith, White, Costelow, Vijoen.

Get more game time into the front give and give some of the younger guys another chance to shine.

Next week we bring in Taute and EWV for starts as we name a stronger team as it's at WR. Get everyone game time away from home. Get the wins at home.

For the Saints game;

Bateman, Kerr, Leitagaga
Spencer, Green
Leibenburg, Coghlan, Thompson
Harrison, Reid
Taute, Veijon
Owolfela, Worth, Holmes

Bench; Youngs, Gigena, Heyes, Wells, Reffell, White, McPhillips, Eastmond.

With a view to experimenting with the backline options e.g. bringing on Eastmond for Owolfela and switching the backs round so it's EWV on the wing, Eastmond at 12, Worth at 13 and Taute at 15. Not what we'd start a game with but where players might need to cover in the season. Give them 20 minutes just to get that game time under their belts.

Ahh just selecting players who haven’t played yet but if that’s the case then ok.

Taute did play 12 for Munster in his last season as well as 13. So could see a partnership of Taute Viljoen against Bath with a view of them starting against Worcester.

Any news on Adam Thompstone?

Taute told me he can play either 12 or 13 and Thompstone back next week.

I would go with a similar set up to the first game, giving gametime to players who haven’t yet had any minutes.

Gigena Kerr Leatigaga
Wells Jordan
Lewis Reffell Smith
Simmons McPhillips
Taute Viljoen
Forsyth Thompstone Steward

Hills Clare Cortes Martin Boladau White Hardwick Thomas

Been very impressed with Forsyth, wouldn’t mind seeing him retained given he can cover centre and wing. Has some pace and good handling.

I would definitely like to see Taute, Viljoen & Leatigaga get a run out, just so I can see what they are like :)

Andrew Jackson will be sir this Saturday, not televised so no TMO but there seemingly wasn’t one last time we played Bath at the Rec.

Just hope we do not have a drop in performance and do a job on the Auld Enemy.

The Tiger’s article said there wouldn’t be?
