I still think it would be mix and match, I guess we’ll see but we must start winning the home games!

At the very least the home team we field must be competitive and not lambs to the slaughter.

I for one want to see a competitive performance and not a large defeat.

If Saturday was Phase 1 with large number of youngsters, then I’d like to see a slight shift to Phase 2 whereby we add 2-3 more senior players but retain some youngsters to increase their development. Let’s not go straight to all senior players.

Gigena, Kerr, Heyes, Green, Wells, Lewis, Reffell, Boladau; White, McPhillips, Aspland-Robinson, Hardwick, Taute, Holmes, Steward.

Polota-Nau, Bateman/Leatigaga, Cortes, Martin/Jordan, Coghlan, Simmons, Worth, Viljoen.

Nope let's go straight to the first team. Gives the development side a week off to recover. Then development team come back in for the next away game whilst the first team recover before the final home game.

We should also go out to ensure all games at WR are won irrespective of the competition or the opposition. Away games in this competition who cares, home games are must win at all times. Need fortress mentality back.

I expect to see a stronger team this week but we are using this competition as pre-season fixtures, our strongest available team will be at Worcester on the 19th October but our first team will not turn out until the World Cup boys are returned and rested and proved they are better than the guys filling in whilst they were away.

Should be a far stronger team than last week if we are to be competitive - Baxter has said that the Exeter team will be very similar to last weeks which means it will be strong . We really do need to start playing some of the combinations who will hope to start in the Premiership.

I feel that confidence was on empty last season and we must get back to winning ways. I know there is clearly a need to manage our player resources and that it is imperative we concentrate on the Premiership but we must build momentum and confidence and the minimum of way of doing so is by winning home games. Furthermore, supporters want value for their hard earned cash in terms of the quality of the rugby they witness on the pitch. Whilst we continue to demonstrate support, loyalty and patience the importance of the club neglecting this fact has massive implications going forward.
