Lol we are going to get spanked by Wasps, does it matter though? Nope.

The offloads from Law and Gough were very impressive for our try

Refereeing atrocious, Wasps player took out Ashworth (who admittedly had an extremely poor game) so there could be no lift, a very offside clearout, forward passes.

I have seen barely any laws applied to the tournament tonight.

Ugh the commentator is so utterly annoying, can’t make a decent analogy to save his life.

Didn't really expect anything less, especially after watching them demolish Bath in their earlier match. Only thing worse than our result/performance in that 7s outing was the commentary.... it exceeded even Barnes and Dayglo esque levels of cliché delivery, hesitantly reading from scripts (or so I thought) and generally gushing about anything to do with Wasps...whilst ignoring that wasps had a fair number of 'experienced' players in there....which is not against the laws so is no-one's fault - not even the Romans.

We couldn't catch a re-start, dithered when we had ball in hand and generally looked like a team that had been told they absolutely had to be there....... all good fun!
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

The officiating has been awful all night. So many obviously forward passes have gone uncalled it's ridiculous.

I thought our lads looked good ball in hand but in defence we lacked the cohesion and organisation to stop a Wasps teams that's stacked with talent. We looked a bit weaker when our academy lads went off and some of the ringers came on. Thought, Law, Lavin and Steward all looked decent. McPhillips looks skillful but needs to be more patient and to stop running into contact.

The next time we see McPhilips he will be playing a lot differently though but it’s nice to have a physical flyhalf that offers something different.

It's the trouble of the tigers players, none are really built or play in a style fit for sevens like the likes of Odogwu etc are.

Running into contact without support in sevens is a rookie error though.

As a signing for the squad I think he'll be good. The Ulster fans I've heard talk about him think he's weak defensively but otherwise a very good player who deserved more game time than he got last season. There's rumours from Notts that they might get a 10 on loan from us for at least the RWC period so McPhillips might help us give Hardwick some senior experience in the Championship which should be good for his development.

Don't see the logic in Hardwick going on loan when Ford is away?
Would leave us with only 2 10's 1 being a 12/10 also.

Costelow would make more sense if we was doing that.
