European fixtures

Post by Cagey Tiger »

Just got the following in an e-mail:

Fixture information for the 2019/20 Heineken Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge Cup will be finalised after the publication of the calendars for Europe’s three professional domestic leagues. We expect that an announcement will be forthcoming in the first half of August 2019.

Same as last year then (ish) giving the Irish Provinces time to organise their non-essential fixtures for the weekends before Europe..... :smt002 :smt002 :smt003 :smt005

Any idea when the specific Challenge Cup fixtures will be announced? The Pro14 fixtures were announced in July, Top 14 fixtures are available, so too our own. Last year the equivalent fixtures were announced Friday 17th August, so I'm hoping later this week, but someone here will surely know when....?

One of the big spoilers in rugby for me. Every year the same.

Diaries out, men! Tigers begin at home to Pau on Saturday the 16th November (3h ko) with the return fixture on the 3rd weekend of January. The back to back fixtures in December will be against Calvisano. Looking forward to it already!

So, notwithstanding the Tigers travel to Pau, what is the easiest way to travel to Pau?

Looking at Bristol to Toulouse myself, flight times aren't too bad doing Friday-Sunday. £52 and a 3 hour train on to Pau.
