This was first out a couple of months back, and is the opinion of agents, who are right up there with estate agents and recruitment consultants in my opinion.

We have always been a club that sticks by what it is and players know that

The poll does not make good reading, but that is no surprise.

Leicester is no longer the club it once was, and in its current state, lacking leadership and direction, is not one that rising stars or established internationals would queue up to join, unlike in the past. Sadly.

IMO 2 of the signings we have made, Taufua and Lavanini would be welcomed at any club in Europe, so don’t necessarily agree with you.
This is very much a non story imo

So to sum up,players want to be at successful clubs they want good training facilities and to play in good stadiums and they want to be looked after. They want to play for coaches that are straight with them and can be trusted, unsaid, but that also means they want stability in the coaching and management of the team. All those things we have done or can do something about, we can do nothing about location so we cannot compete with Exeter for its position in the South West or even Bath , or Saracens and Quins for proximity to London.
The above is the view of agents, none of whom mentioned their share of a players earnings obviously that is of little interest to them as they think only of what is best for their client!
