Basteraud to Munster,he's received a genuine offer apparently
..and apparently he's politely refused the offer. He's looking for a club until December when his contract with New York begins.
Montpellier, Stade Français and Lyon are in the running to sign him, so whatever club he ends up at he'll have a fine selection of restaurants to frequent!!

Former Tiger, Laurence Pearce has left Mont de Marsan (ProD2) for the Top14 club Agen.
Don't know if this is old news, but Pau have signed All Black Ben Smith from Otago Highlanders.
Still with Pau, Steffon Armitage is on his way and could be joining Perpignan.
All Black Nehe Milner-Skudder is another big name signing for Toulon (following Eben Etzebeth and Sergio Parisse)
I've learnt that another former Tiger, Pablo Matera, is to play for Stade Français next season.
Yet another ex-Tiger, Leonardo Ghiraldini has not been retained by Toulouse and for the moment, we don't know if he's found another club.

Not sure where else to, put this so apologies if this in the incorrect place.
I see that James Dyson has just purchased a Penthouse on Singapore for £44 million, and that he is moving Dysons HQ to Singapore, with both he and his wife becoming naturalised Singapore citizens.
I wonder if this will have an effect on Baths sponsorship

Blimey. Also interesting as he owns a lot of Lincolnshire farmland (it is all of a piece with his Brexit stance, don't want to get into economics on here). Perhaps Bath due to find new sponsorship anyway. NuMatic perhaps - they have a few Hooray Henry types in their fanbase

Interesting that. Otere Black is starting for the Maori Vs Fiji and he left the Hurricanes to get away from playing back up to Beaudon. You imagine he'll be on the look out for a move to avoid the same again and with two NZ age grade flyhalfs at the Blues behind him he'll be allowed to go. Could head home to Hurricanes or head to Highlanders so that Gatland Jnr is free to join up with Daddy.

Fiji 27-10 Maori AB. Strong Maori team and first time theyve beaten then since 1957, hopefully makes Wales group interesting!

Was a couple missing from the Fiji squad they could still bring in as well. No Yato, Raka and Semi Radradra who could all come back in and make an impact. Hopefully we'll see a Fijian game plan that adds just the right amount of structure for the undoubted brilliance available.
The Maori side had a lot of Super Rugby experience but not that many on the verge of AB selection.
