Wilson confirmed to go on loan to Sale. They have ridiculous depth in the backrow now, even in the World Cup they still will have a backrow of Jono Ross, Josh Beaumont and Ben Curry.
Formerly of Burbaaage (not Inkleh), now up north at uni

Yes I really was hoping Tigers might push the boat out on this one, I know he will miss a fair bit of the season but in big games exactly the kind of player we have been sorely lacking.

He was always likely to pick Sale for a season long loan. He's from Kendal and lives in Newcastle all his family would be in easier commuting distance if he played at Sale. Sale also have the du Preez brothers until Super Rugby restarts which means they'll have bountiful options and can afford to give him a staggered return to play post RWC helping him be match for come the 6N.
