Re: Howard to mentor Murphy
It's pretty obvious Murphy isn't going to be sacked off the one season, so not sure why you keep acting so surprised.
On Pat i'm glad he's helping out, as he's not one to let others just stall things he thinks needs changing.

I’m overjoyed Pat is here once again.

Re: Howard to mentor Murphy
With the turnover of coaching staff, whoever was appointed after MO'C was going to be nigh on bulletproof for last season and next as a minimum. Geordan happens to the one chosen.sapajo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 9:27 am https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/rugby-un ... ssion=true
Seems Murphy is bullet proof
Re: Howard to mentor Murphy
So is this the end of the coaching recruitment???

Another bodge up.
The sooner this lot disappears , Board and Coaches except Stanko, and we get a decent DOR, the quicker we will regain our good name..

Re: Howard to mentor Murphy
Well I am pleased to see these latest appointments. Both Pat Howard and Jan McGinity will add significantly to the group.
Re: Howard to mentor Murphy
Is it just hindsight or am I smelling a rat with all these in-house appointments? Has this sale been on the cards for longer than they are letting on that's why they've kept it cheap and cheerful and employed from within?

if indeed this is the case we are going to need him more than on a part time basis ..........
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Re: Howard to mentor Murphy
If the aim of the game was cheap and cheerful why would we hire McGinity or Howard.
Howard won't be that cheap especially given he will be travelling, I know he loves the club but it will take a lot of time from him.
McGinity was one of the biggest agents in the recent modern times, and has experience with contracts etc at both Premiership level and International level.
Again will not be cheap.

A mentor without any real responsilbility - I'm not sure about that . I'm also not sure about inventing another job for Glyn. There seem to be more Chiefs than Indians at the moment whilst we really need a top drawer Head Coach who can bang a few heads together to sort the mess out .

Re: Howard to mentor Murphy
Board must go major change required, so club being sold.......must be a sell out, profiteering, lack of commitment by the Board.
Coaches out of their depth, so quality additions appointed.......not more ex Tigers, being done on the cheap.
Anyone else bored with the endless negativity
