We should all be pleased with this draw. If we don't qualify, then we must still be awful.

Pau? Must not be taken lightly. Our defence must also be able to hold out Tinky Winky, Dipsy and La-la.......but I'm not holding my breath?

On a serious note didn't Darren Garforth dispose of a beer can on the pitch in that game?

Great memories of the Pau victory, Pat Howard dancing on the table and me getting the restaurant next door to re-open at 1 am, where they served Tigers supporters with just salad and frites, But what a meal...

So what is the best way to travel to Pau? Question for those that have been before, what hotels are recommended?

On a more serious note Darren nicked my pint and yammed it when he was playing on the wing - yes on the wing - at a charity game a few years ago!!!!

Darren! Proper prop! He and Marcos, possibly my favourite two players.

Has a date been set when the fixtures will be announced so that we can all begin thinking about travel plans?

I'm afraid it's all very last minute due to TV picking the times. Best to just book a long weekend leaving Friday,Saturday,Sunday open.

Aren't some of the Challenge Cup games played on a Thursday? Just under five months till the start so plenty of time to arrange travel. The January dates tend to be left late for TV scheduling.

John Griffiths it is. I am by temperament a solo traveller, and Mrs G has hodophobia.

January dates haven't been announced until after round 4 in the past. It let's the TV pick the meaningful fixtures out from the "dead" matches.
