All these internationals playing for Tigers and we come 11th, is it the players fault or the coaches fault?

Coaches for me,like I said with Gloc,Chiefs,Sarries coaches for example never in a million years would we have finished that low. Imo of course.

Well done guys, way to stay on topic.

This conversation has at least one thread of its own elsewhere.

On current form I don't think Cole, Genge, Youngs or Tuilagi would make a squad that wasn't managed by somebody so absolutely set in their ways as Jones.

Can you elaborate on Jones being 'absolutely set in their ways' - I'm not sure if I vehemently agree or disagree.

Tuilagi is easily the best centre in England of course he would make it. Ridiculous to think he wouldn't be involved.

All have played very well for England, and Jones has shown that he can be quite ruthless when it comes to players he thinks are not performing.

If the likes of Shields and Schonert etc can get in then who cares!
I mean there is also rumour about Marler being in contention for a World Cup place, the slowest LH because he can't play at TH that I've ever seen! :smt005

Genge not going?
Only if he is injured in my book. Sure he looked frustrated at times at Welford Road and wasn't fully fit when played by England but he is a player who changes games and which of the other loose heads apart from Macko can make that claim?

As form Manu not going.... Injury only would stop him. He showed in the 6N his presence made gaps for the others and made many effective breaks. Defensively he was fine. It just looks like he is rushing up at Tigers because our defensive line was woefully slow.
