England got a good result against the Wallabies, somewhat helped by Australia's No8 red card. However they haven't qualified for the semifinals and will have to play the 5-8th place play-offs and will face Ireland next in a repeat fixture.

Reffell is a defensive tank.
Not just in how hard he hits, but how he reads the game.

Seriously think he could have a breakout year next season.

I thought he looked capable of stepping up in his brief outings last season. Very quick over the ball and has good tackle technique.

Agreed, I think he should be our starting 7 next season, Costelow could also see himself getting a bit of game time next season

Poor result yesterday for Scotland. Too many mistakes and bad decisions. A lot of injuries - Sam Grahamslaw is badly missed in the scrum for instance, where we've been badly beaten by all three of our opponents.

Starting over Thompson? I'd like to see the. Rotated with Guy taking the big games but being rested every couple of weeks to keep him fresh. Need him around for as much of the season as possible.

Costelow I imagine will see a lot of A league action.
