Great defensive player, not quite Lozowski level but can sit anyone down.

At just 22, he needs more game-time. We recognise that he has a lot of potential and has a bit of X-factor about him."

Looks like a sponsor has pulled out of LI over Paddy Jackson,it was always a risk signing him.

Exiles always knew signing Jackson would be a big risk, I’d imagine the likes of Lawes will make their feelings felt.

Seems like a quality acquisition by Gustard, my only worry is that for Quins it could turn into a Cockerill/Mauger situation.

I’d have liked us to have gone left field like that or even more left field, and employ Rocky Clark as forwards coach, would have given us good press for once and Clark is a very intelligent woman and experienced rugby player.

Yes, it will be interesting to see how Long will fit with Nick Evans, both as backs coaches.

Curious to know who Gustard is referring to with this quote.... "I am delighted that Sean has decided to join Quins ahead of other Premiership options as he takes his first foray into coaching union," ...

Pretty sure if we signed Long, this forum would be in meltdown!

I'm with you jp14, Rocky would be a great acquisition, also i still can't understand why we mentioned further into Ben Ryan... He would be a fantastic guy to have around, look what he did with Fiji on no dude for starters. His knowledge is amazing too
Jerry Flannery is available too after leaving munster.....

Lookd like another sponsor could be pulling out of LI!

Seems like a meeting with remaining sponsors and LI is immenent, I’m not surprised sponsors are pulling out, just at the timing, Jackson has been confirmed for a while now.

Brodie Retallick has signed a new three-year deal with New Zealand Rugby (NZR) and the Chiefs which will see him take an extended break from the game in New Zealand before committing through to 2023.

Ronan O'Gara has been appointed head coach of La Rochelle who reached the play-off semi-finals last weekend.
He'll be under the Director of Rugby Jono Gibbes, the former Ulster head coach.
O'Gara is currently attack coach for the Crusaders and leaves for La Rochelle at the end of this season and he's already had Top14 experience learning his trade with Racing.
La Rochelle were a force to be reckoned with this last season and will maybe be even more so next season.
