This was always in the offing was it not?

I thought it was prerequisite for the hotel going in that the spaces lost would be redistributed elsewhere.

That’s what it is already with Tigers charging for parking, very reasonable rate, unless match days, or being used for commercial events at the ground

This is a much larger car park than originally planned; I hope they can resolve the planning issue with the side road. Spending on these capital items will generate future funds for the club and allow the fans further match day parking and some seven day parking for the future hotel guests. Well done Tigers..
I hope they can find spaces for team coaches!

Probably an easier sell teaming up with the Royal, and guaranteed income Mon-Fri as its permit based. Can't look any worse than the dumping ground thats there at the minute I guess...

They need to get on with it. I am sure it was stated some time ago that construction of both the hotel and car park would commence this summer but clearly there is still a lot to settle before anything starts on site.
