Is this because he stated facts in the post match press call?
No, not that one!

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

So verbally abusing and disrespecting the match officials. Him along with the majority of the crowd. Not the most authoritative nor decisive performances from the officials.

Ah grand, we were overdue some bad news. Can't say I really blame him and at least it shows he still cared even though it was a dead rubber.

Sounds like his frustrations got the better of him. We have had very little joy from the TMOs this season. Not been on top enough to get the rub from the refs either.

Take some good biscuits to the meeting and make the apology look authentic. He should be ok.

When the quiet man gets angry....

Interesting to see if it was the ref or TMO? Can't say I blame him, it's one thing when we play badly but when playing well enough to win and really poor decisions impact the result. :smt017

Geordan up before the beak

Post by Mark62 »

Being reported that Geordan is being charged on 2 accounts of abusing match officials And bringing the game into disrepute.

Anyone know what this this relates too, and is I think another example of something caused by Mr Maxwell Keyes ineptitude

:smt043 :smt043 :smt043 we all know the RFU's attitude towards any club north of the M5...

CMK is an awful ref,he shouldn't be in charge at this level!

I've seen worse refs than CMK, in years gone by mistakes by the officials were far more palatable because the team was just so good and overcame most obstacles, a bit like Sarries presently, but when you're not at the top of the table these mistakes importance and the pressure because of them certainly is intensified.

All match official abuse should be stamped on with a heavy boot, especially those that use those cheap shots as an excuse for their own shortcomings. Core values anyone? or just when it suits you?

I don't think a heavy boot is required on this occasion.
Being at the relegation end of the table is a new experience, a different kind of pressure.
So Geordie made a mistake in talking about the officials, we live and learn, but if we are to accept that officials make mistakes under pressure then surely the same should apply.
