Re: Weekend match thread
Sarries seem to have improved international players who have arrived too. Liam Williams turnover was brilliant. Tigers seem to leave that to the back row only. Our whole squad need to realise all players on the pitch need to have fast decision making at the breakdown. We rarely compete enough. Betham did a game saving turnover on our line showing that level of commitment and what happened to him? This was an awesome game that displayed a relentless intensity we need to strive for in the whole squad.

Congratulations to Sarries. They have to be our blueprint in terms of intensity and style on the pitch as well as recruitment and conditioning off the pitch. They're miles ahead of us.
They could probably teach our accounts department a thing or two about creativity too (Had to get at least one dig in there).

I saw Marika Vunibaka play

It wasn't just the standard of ball play it was the intensity and desire to be the one to make the next tackle.
A lot of our players have looked at one and other to make the tackle and even after doing so amble slowly back to their feet and join the defensive line. When are we going to remember that that level of intensity is required at all league games and not just for the top European matches.
The past few seasons we have treated the pre-season friendlies as exhibition matches and taken longer and longer to step up into the season until this year when we failed utterly to do so.
