Denton isn't on that much, was more to do with it being a 3 year contract.

A bit later than I promised but here is the tribute I'd said I do on Big Fred...

Sounds like Toomua has been released early

Agreed. Give Hardwick or Worth a run at 12. Smith at 13. Look at some of the options for next season at 12.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 12:38 pmNo harm in that, we’re safe, play someone who’s staying and let Toomua wave goodbye afterwards

If true what a sorry end to his time here, I was so excited when it was announced he was joining but things haven't gone anything like any of us hoped. I really thought he would stick it out and try and go out with a bang at home but I guess not

'The Australian' reports Matt Toomua is training with the Rebels and is in the mix to play against the Bulls on Friday night.
He's gone.

I was hoping he'd be among the best southern hemisphere recruits at Tigers, along the lines of Josh Kronfeld, Joel Stransky and Pat Howard, but sadly he fell somewhat short of expectations.

Didn't even want to stick around to say goodbye at Welford Road, good riddance then. It's disappointing to find out he holds us in such low regard.strawclearer wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 3:08 pm 'The Australian' reports Matt Toomua is training with the Rebels and is in the mix to play against the Bulls on Friday night.

Absolutely agree, must have been some really bad blood flying around for the sharp exit - extremely disrespectful to supporters who have (mainly) supported him through the thick and thin of his time here. Lost a lot of respect for him even though the club must clearly have given their assent.CitizenSmiff wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 3:17 pmDidn't even want to stick around to say goodbye at Welford Road, good riddance then. Total :censored: disappointment, to say the least. Saw very few really classy flashes, and a lot of not much. Such promise, such disappointment.

I was delighted when I heard M.T. was coming here. What a total disaster he turned out to be. I don't think the coaching did him any favours. Even M.T. has fallen short of expectations this season.

How terribly sad that we had at one time the world's best 12 and 13 in the same team and it didn't work
