Re: George Ford
I agree, make George Ford captain but make sure that we get rid of Mike Ford so that they cannot create the toxic environment they made at Bath.

Re: George Ford
Don't think that had much to do with George. I think his dad fell out with senior players in the changing room over Burgess and the alleged affair.
Re: George Ford
I only agree with backs being the skipper when they are tactically very strong for a team, for example when and where to kick and when and where to run it from fly half according to what the forwards do, or a rock of a centre for a team based on a dominant crash ball game.
Ford has played very well individually off the cuff this season but tactically and physically it has been very mixed.
I don't see an obvious choice past Thompson as skipper yet which for me is a problem, perhaps there are potential candidates coming in.

Re: George Ford
Luke Hamilton is not really a leader.
Nor have we missed him TBH.

Re: George Ford
Quite agree RBull - just another average back rower . George Ford has kept us afloat this Season and should be the onfield Captain if available . I would make Guy Thompson the Club Captain - OTY has had his time and does not merit a starting spot now .

Re: George Ford
As mentioned elsewhere, I would make Guy Thompson skipper. I wont repeat my reasons.
