Weekend match thread - Non Tigers

Post by Scott1 »

Two big matches tonight,3 teams still playing for top 4,1 playing for their safety. One thing that has stuck out for me,and that further vindicates my views on the PRO14 Leinster have made 15,yes 15 changes to their side for the Ulster game with playoffs and Europe in mind. Why? Because they can. It's nothing new,the PRO14 is just a vehicle for European and International rugby. Compare their side with the one Sarries have put out this week.

Shame it's Sale v Bath on BT Sport as I think Falcons v Saints will be more interesting and more riding on it. It's last chance saloon for Falcons. If Falcons win this there last home game is against Bears, which is very winnable. But lose tonight and I can't see any way back. Still I'll watch the other game, it should be a decent battle.

Don't see the issue with Leinster's team. If Leicester had a guaranteed home semi in the play off and were playing in the final of the ERC I would play the shags aswell.

That's because Leinster have nothing to play for. I bet Sarries would do something similar if they had a home semi final guaranteed already.

This is not new though, take a look at a PRO14 side the game before a Euro one then compare it with a GP one.

Hopefully we play like we did when we last had the pressure off in the premiership. TBP v Sale.
