Hope Smith gets game time, he epitomises the Tigers spirit we have missed since his injury. He never lets us down, strong in the tackle gains ground and is a leader.

I would just reiterate what I've already said, it's all about character now.Soggypitch wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 8:45 am Regardless of so called ability/class, we should play the players that are up for the fight. The next few games will be about guts and desire, we have to rekindle the old Tigers spirit, if that means dropping some of the "stars" then so be it.
I would hope that GM and MF between them will be well aware of that. It's an old fashioned test of character.

Louis Deacon, although trying to be positive, doesn't see us winning on Friday, thinks we'll win our home games and that's how we'll survive.
I'm inclined to agree.
Tigers, go out and prove us wrong ......please!

Something tickled me there, thinking about a bunch of clowns going for the juggler

No more moaning from us fans might help.
I have been dismayed and outrage by some of our performances but, in the cold light of the day have to be honest and admit, very few teams would have coped with our selection problems . Our best chance of survival is to play the same squad, injuries permitting to get some continuity into the team.
One thing Tigers need is a really good start backed up with total commitment for the whole game.
Let’s make Newcastle nervous.
You can do it Tigers.

Anybody else finding it a slog to get to Friday? I reckon we'll scrape a narrow victory and end the season thanking our lucky stars for JP Doyle's dodgy camera angles.

For me I just don't see us staying up if we lose this one.
All of our home games are against better sides. Worcester turned us over at home and quite frankly our capacity to leak soft tries time after time is killing us.
Compound that by some players getting frustrated and red carded (Kalamafoni and Youngs) and we are in a backs to the wall situation.
I guess we will find out who are those with the bulldog spirit and who are the quitters.

I think a 4-1 loss is ok,anything more could be fatal

Here's my scenarios,of course there are many more but just my thoughts. Win and we will go on to beat Brizzle and be guaranteed safety with two games left. Lose badly conceding a TBP without getting a LBP or TBP we will go down. Lose 4-1 and we are still in it,a two point gap becomes a 5 point gap again if we beat Bristol and Newcastle lose even if they gain a point. Then they are chasing BP not just wins. A 4-0 loss and it's anyone guess!
