Here I am, worrying about today's game. Ten past three in the morning, and unable to sleep! It's a hard life being a Tigers fan these days.

I think an early Exeter score really will damage any confidence we may or may not have. I don’t want to hear any players telling me we have under performed this season and need to put it right..I have two eyes and can see the table and results. Just do the buisness on the pitch not platitudes or excuses after.
Always hopeful but think this is another chasting afternoon.

...the team positions are not something that we have seen previously, is this the influence of Mike Ford.
No one seems to have linked this team sheet with MF although many are querying the choices made. This seems a strange oversight that no one has questioned the reasoning behind this team and positions occupied by certain individuals within the team.

It seems a fairly self explanatory selection to be honest.
Exeter are a big pack and have a very strong tight carrying game and so Williams is added for scrum weight and tight play.
Leicester's back three defensive reading and positioning was badly exposed against Saints and so Toomua is asked to come to the rescue at full back.
Whether it works or not remains to be seen but going on the last outing against Saints if they were to be as poor again then the score could be very ugly against Exeter and so trying something is better than trying nothing.

Our team looks pretty good, but then I nearly always think that and usually we are awful!

So here's hoping that MF has made a difference this week, wish I could be at the game, but have a prior commitment at a local sports club.

Win today and we'll definitely stay up, lose badly and we will be in for one hell of a battle.

We aren’t great starters so I don’t think you will miss anything too enjoyable!!
