Still no good news on the injury front
It seems that both Ben Youngs and Jonah Holmes might not make the Exeter game! Maybe, given the huge games v Newcastle and Bristol, Geordan will have to hope those chosen to play against Exeter can get at least a point from the game!
Worth and Bateman probably out too then add in those who have been out for long periods, Thomo, TV and Denton, no wonder Geordan has struggled to get the team to gel.
You would think our luck would surely change but we have been saying that for the past few seasons.

Well, if believing some rumours (nothing more), Jonah may not make any more games this season at all.....tbc
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

Where’s this from. Reports were Youngs was rested against Saints
Re: Still no good news on the injury front
What are you implying Whitecap? Long-term injury or is he going to the West? (Got it right this time )

Well that just about puts the tin lid on things. We seem to be cursed with bad luck this season, as nothing is going right.

Geordan was on BBC Radio Leicester explaining the injury list had become “ ridiculous with Ben Youngs shoulder injury ( done with England) and Jonah Holmes a badly twisted knee struggling to be fit for Exeter” . Then he later said the injuries might be long term! I’m hoping it is a smoke screen!

Given how this season is going he's probably down playing it, in reality half the squad have SARS and Boris will be playing scrum half next week.Ian Cant wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2019 9:28 pm Geordan was on BBC Radio Leicester explaining the injury list had become “ ridiculous with Ben Youngs shoulder injury ( done with England) and Jonah Holmes a badly twisted knee struggling to be fit for Exeter” . We have had 5 consecutive seasons of horrendous injuries.Dangerous4 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2019 2:53 pm Well that just about puts the tin lid on things. We seem to be cursed with bad luck this season, as nothing is going right.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

Is this due, I ponder, to the type of fitness programme we use. It's all extremely disconcerting.

Re: Still no good news on the injury front
Thinking about it I would say no. Looking at some of this season's injuries: Ben Youngs injured with England; Dave Denton concussed in a match; Telusa injured in a match; Guy Thopmson injured in a match; Sam Harrison has had a couple of concussions sustained during matches; George Worth injured in the warm up. I believe Adam Thompstone and Matt Smith were injured while playing also. I'm not sure about Jonah Holmes.Dangerous4 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:59 pm Is this due, I ponder, to the type of fitness programme we use. It's all extremely disconcerting.

We may as well just say so as it's something else for people to moan about.Dangerous4 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:59 pm Is this due, I ponder, to the type of fitness programme we use. It's all extremely disconcerting.
Even though our training methods were looked into a few seasons ago when we suffered with a long list of injuries and the findings were that we were not doing anything wrong, you may as well say the club are doing something wrong as it seems this is the only way you'll be happy.
