Hmm. Not ideal with the current circumstance, but player welfare is paramount.
Look forward to seeing him fit and raring to go in August.

At least they don’t feel it is career ending at the moment.

Let’s hope he comes back fitter and stronger next season, it’ll be like having another signing

Really bad news for him and our club and I sincerely hope he makes a full recovery. I certainly enjoyed his performances this season he has been badly missed!

Shame to see this....but player welfare must come first. (As other wise folk have said)

Had got to the stage where I was expecting a 'career over' announcement so very happy to hear this news. Hope his recovery becomes 'complete' as soon as possible!

Hope the big man hasn't suffered too much. Brain injuries are terrifying and I think as supporters it's sometimes easy to forget that as 'concussion' doesn't sound as bad as 'anterior cruciate ligament tear'.

Any reason why we have not used injury dispensation? I know its never easy recruiting anyone at this stage of the season but facing the abyss and without him and Kalamafoni, we badly need someone pronto!

Very difficult to predict that a concussion case would take three months for recovery. Perhaps this decision has been made to enable the club to apply for an injury dispensation.......purely speculating on my part.

As always player welfare is paramount and his long term health is more important that the results of one game or any number of games or seasons.

Let's hope this allows an injury dispensation because our back row is begging out for someone of his calibre.

Isn't there a limit on the amount of money that can be spent per club per season for injury dispensation? I believe we have already spent on dispensation for Telusa Veainu and Adam Thompstone by bringing in Sarto and possibly Varndell. Whether we are up to the limit I wouldn't know but if we are that would preclude us from getting another player in to cover Dave Denton.
