If we're going to have inexperienced former players as coaches, which seems to be a mantra we're never getting away from, I'd rather have titans of the game than squad men.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 11:44 am Although why would POC be fine when most of the complaints above our current coaches is experience.

Stanko wasn't exactly a titan of the game and is most peoples favourite coaches, and Murphy is one of the biggest legends at Tigers yet has his complaints.CitizenSmiff wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 11:57 amIf we're going to have inexperienced former players as coaches, which seems to be a mantra we're never getting away from, I'd rather have titans of the game than squad men.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 11:44 am Although why would POC be fine when most of the complaints above our current coaches is experience.

This forum is becoming more and more "elitist". Some of us have not quite the same degree of knowledge as others, so using POC and getting Paul O'Connell is a stretch. It's particularly galling when posters use initials to identify Southern Hemisphere players some of which we haven't even heard of. It puts people off using this forum if they have to dig to the depths of their brain to find an answer, rather than just read it. It's also very lazy, and Scott1 you are the worst perpetrator of this. This forum is for all, not just some.
Give blood, play rugby!!

Fair play to Scott, BOD, POC, D-Mac etc fairly well known, not really elite. Used to use OTY and YBY for the Youngs
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Billy Smart's ringmaster spotted at Welford road tonight looking to recruit merrymakers for a forthcoming UK tour...plenty of options available on show......complete with squirty flowers and collapsing cars....
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

Have followed Tigers and 6 nations for nearly 50 years, Europe since its inception, Southern Hemisphere never. BOD well known. POC has become a bit obscure now that he is coaching, and in France. D-Mac. Who ? Is it something like a Big Mac? I could be wrong but I don't think that I'm alone in only watching NH rugby.
