It's not just a brutal enforcer we need, we also need a leader in the pack, one who can motivate and run the show. Lavanini would perfectly fill the brutal element but we still need that leadership.

If the rumours are true Lavanini coupled with Taufua and maybe a couple more forward signings would make a very fearsome pack.

Pity we can’t raid Jaguares for Matera as well then we’d be sorted.

"Yes, there are guys we have already signed, but we won't announce them just yet," Murphy said through a wide grin.

"There are guys coming ... from across the world and some guys from the UK as well."

Also adds......

"It's quite interesting to hear the speculation and obviously the fans are all anxious.

"The jigsaw pieces are beginning to fall in to place ... I'm pretty happy with where we're at."

After watching the Super Rugby, been pretty impressed with the Sunwolves’ lock-forward Uwe Helo, Tongan born, sizeable chap and Japan international. Worth a punt?

EW Viljoen (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/EW_Viljoen) 23 year old centre/wing/fullback from Stormers apparently signed for us according to this:

Highlights reel: https://vimeo.com/299263664

Also some interesting signings for other English clubs.

Interesting, would be a good replacement for Gareth Owen. Also funny that it seems RG Snyman is going Japan rather than Harlequins :smt003

Looks like a useful signing if true. Good feet and vision and a hard hitter :smt001

I like the way he seems to look for support most of the time or be looking to support when he can.

Considerable step up on Owen who even taking his injuries into account has been a huge disappointment

He could be a very handy addition to our squad. He looks good enough, but more importantly he has versatility, being able to play 15, centre, and on the wing. :smt023

Jonathan Davies has re-signed at Scarlets - not that we need him now!

Sunwolves reportedly getting axed by Super Rugby so the aforementioned Helo, Michael Leitch and Michael Little are all players worth going after if this happens.
