I'm pretty confident we will win this one, Saints look somehow even worse than we are...

I am sure Saints will play their strongest team in the Final, look at the team they put out against us last month.

They then may have to put out almost the same team 5 days later.

Funny how last year some fans thought we’d beat Saints then look what happened. They will come fully loaded( Lawes targeting Tigers comeback) to gain revenge for Twickers defeat.
I will take any win, ugly, lucky whatever to ease relegation fears.
If anything this season has proved is any team can beat any team.
Also I still remember the “ cavalry” returning v Bristol!!!
Underestimate any team in the last 6 and we will lose.
Go in with a fully focused mindset and play for 80+ minutes and we could do ok. Stats don’t lie, however, and our defence is awful and no back to back wins for an eternity.

Clearly we need our head coach to have the authority to hire and fire the players & coaches he chooses within the salary cap so he can build his own team.

If players beneath him don't like it then the board should support him and show them the door.

Would that be different undre private ownership?
Would it be different with a sugar daddy?

Possibly because they might want results and be prepared to sweep out old structures and power bases that might hinder the head coach from achieving a winning team.

We need to play well for the full eighty minutes. Anything less, then we shall be staring defeat in the face.

Come on lads, you can do this. :smt023

Ironic he'd just past a record for the most consecutive games in the same shirt.......must have ponged a bit?.......but then again ......... :smt001
So whomsoever takes over at eight needs (ideally) a three week run of fitness?

Yes .......I'm rambling a bit but what we really needed to get us out of the mire was a little stability in selection? .......I'm worried!

Has to be Thompson at 8. Even if it means Williams at 7,Guy at 8 rather than Kala at least adds pace and balances the backrow.

Think I might try Williams at 8, leave Thomson on the flank.

They could scrummage like that LE18 but then leave Guy in the backfield for kick returns. I worry about Williams ball control though

BOC played a lot of club rugby at 8 back in New Zealand but unsure on his fitness but I thought Geordan said 2-3 weeks for him.

Could give us that Pocock / Hooper mix.
