Newcastle win again

Post by Ian Cant »

Just as we thought; Newcastle win back to back games. Deano has the team on form and now anyone can go down!

Remaining fixtures for the Falcons: Sale H, Sarries A, Tigers H, Saints H, Glos A, Bristol H.

Us: Saints H, Chiefs H, Falcons A, Bristol H, Quins A, Bath H.

It's not going to be pleasant viewing but I reckon we'll be OK, can't see a 9 point swing in those fixtures.

That could be 4 wins at home for Newcastle: can we do the same???
Difference is Newcastle now confident whereas Tigers confidence is shot to pieces.
It may be between us and Worcester.
Bristol will have too much spirit for us and Saints will be out to repeat last season’s win.
Sadly, Tigers’ arrogance will hurt us.
On the other hand everyone is beating everyone so who knows what will happen. The main worry is Murphy keeps saying I’m not making excuses then goes on to make a load. Does Geordan have the ability to get the players to eradicate errors, discipline and get back to back wins? Time will soon tell.

I knew our away form has been bad but i didn't realise how bad, we haven't won an away game all season(The Northampton game was technically an away game but as we know HQ is a neutral ground). Couple this with the vital home loss to Worcester and its not difficult to see why we are in a relegation battle.

Not a good couple of days for Tigers. Worst thing we can do is think we're too big to go down.

Red cards, injuries and internationals have made it a very difficult season for all Tigers fans.....

I don't think people think we are too big to go down. We are just confident that we won't. There's a difference.

I respect that but we'd be in this position anyway imo

Would've beaten at least Worcester.
And IMO at least a BP v Sale.

if we had our internationals.

The truth is that it has been 5 consecutive seasons of decline at the hands of the complacent and incompetent BOD continue to make it yet another very difficult season for all Tigers fans!

I respect that but in my opinion, you're wrong. We'd be doing better without all of the injuries.
