It's a pull rather than a tear, according to Smurf:

"Brendon's not too bad, it is a bit of a tweak," Murphy said. "He actually ran today (Wednesday) but the difference between running and playing a rugby match, particularly for No.7, is huge so hopefully he is only going to be two or three weeks."
That’s good then heard him interviewed on tigers show on RL and he said torn

What’s going on with Sarto? I was expecting him to jump straight into the 14 shirt being a quality player and probably be with us next season too. Not even seen him on the pitch yet.

The logic being that we should do the same with? Andy Goode, perhaps. Maybe Laurence Pearce& Jerome Schuster again. Is that what Tigers have become. A shop window?

Just to remind some Tigers have at least five back three players unavailable through injury or international call up, as cover they have signed two experienced wingers on a three month injury dispensation. Do posters suppose that there is a ready supply of quality players sitting around unattached yet at Premiership fitness just waiting for a call? The guys we signed were available and may be able to help us but I think some of our fans are asking for the impossible in expecting us to sign current international quality wingers at this time of the season.

That's a far too sensible, reasoned and accurate post to appear on here, John. Moderators please remove this immediately :smt003

We could still play our fit development squad players ahead of them though and have the temporary replacement on the bench for emergencies...

Nice bench but disappointed with the retention of Owen and that unbalanced backrow (Evans must be injured now too :smt017), I was almost expecting young Fred to be picked!

Amazed that Hardwick is still on the bench - how badly do our 10,11,12 need to do before they make way.

12 Ryan Mills (C)
11 Tom Howe
10 Duncan Weir
9 Francois Hougaard
1 Ethan Waller
2 Jack Singleton

England flanker Ted Hill will start for Warriors. Hill, who was capped against Japan at Twickenham in November, captained England Under-20s to victory over France at Exeter two weeks ago. Hill and centre OIllie Lawrence, have both been recalled by Warriors for their first home since Premiership match since they beat Bath in the 19th minute of added time on January 5.

Hill takes the place of GJ van Velze, who has been ruled out by a forearm injury, in a rejigged back row. Marco Mama, who signed a one-year contract extension earlier this week, switches to number eight with Ryan Mills taking over as captain.

Wing Tom Howe, will start his first Premiership match of the season. Howe has scored eight tries in as many first team matches this season. The other change is at loosehead prop where Ethan Waller will also make his first Premiership start of the season. Lawrence has been named as a replacement alongside lock Pierce Phillips, who has recovered from a foot injury, and fly-half Jono Lance who is set for his first appearance since he suffered a stress fracture of the back in November.
