When are we going to be told of quality signings as befitting the ManUtd of rugby.? Every other club is signing some heavy duty names, and all we hear are juniors resigning, most who by the law of averages will not make the grade...

I for one believe wells and Lewis will be great servants for Tigers in the row, Wells is brilliant and Lewis is only going to get better and already looks able to compete at Prem level.

White and Simmons are the future of Tigers at SH. Both will probably end up in England squads of the future.

Hardwick, Heyes, Kerr, Reffell etc all have potential to go right to the top of the game.

Olowafela just needs to put two stone on and he'll be sound.

Shame about Will Evans if hes off though.

Personally I'm more heartened by the squad as a whole being bolstered by re-signing a number of talented players rather than 1 'blockbuster' signing when lengthy injuries are so much a part of the modern game.

England Under-20s international Tom Hardwick has agreed a new contract with Leicester Tigers.

One more to come...

I thought Hardwick had been announced as resigning a few weeks back.

You can't please some people! There's uproar when younger players sign for other clubs so signing up some of the brighter talents to new terms is good news. I wonder if Manu U fans said the same when Beckham, Scholes, Butt, Neville's etc all signed new deals back in the day.......

It was mentioned in a tweet from Chris Egerton but not confirmed officially by the club

I don’t have an issue with the announcement of resignings, in fact I’m pretty pleased by it, that tigers are bringing players thougnbthe academy again, especially to have had 4 or 5 play pretty regularly this season. My issue is the big song and dance they made about it on tweet, with the mass build up. I get that if your announcing new signings or the resigning of a major international like Manu, but I feel these could have all been announced in one go.

I can understand that but quite enjoy these 'popcorn tuesdays' or whatever they're called none the less. Perhaps the big announcement is being saved for last or the forum tonight?

A 'big announcement' for me would be Reffell.

The club has done its bit in giving them senior contracts now over to the players to confirm that was the right decision.
