Comment was ‘current or former all black’, ‘predominantly a 6’, but can play across the back row. Savea and Todd are predominantly 7’s. I’m thinking it’s Liam Messam, but I don’t know his contract situation in truth.

Knightonian - this seems to be as good as it gets.
Not worth getting your knickers in a twist over at the moment....
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

Frizell is a 6 but isn’t a 7 so I’d imagine it could be Taufua if the rumour is true.
Formerly of Burbaaage (not Inkleh), now up north at uni

What about the number 8 position? It needs improving on. It's never been true quality since the departure of Martin Corry.

At his peak amazing in the line out with great speed in the open but never had the grunt or abrasiveness to take it up to England level
Give an choice I’d have Ed every game so as long as we get an equal younger option great

I presume that's what the AB is for. Denton at 6 and the Kiwi at 8. If it's Taufua then he's an explosive player.Dangerous4 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 01, 2019 8:09 pm What about the number 8 position? It needs improving on. It's never been true quality since the departure of Martin Corry.

I’d be surprised if Taufua has binned off a Japanese contract to stay with the All Blacks, only to then decide to sign for a European club and write off his all black chances anyway? France, possibly at a stretch, but not British clubs, I just don’t imagine they pay enough when you factor in he’s sacked off a Japanese contract.

No, it's Sunday, a day of rest and relaxation.
