BBC Countryfile
Just by chance watched part of tonight's Countryfile programme which featured an interview with Julian White on his Farm which is situated on the Leics/Northants border . He appears to be doing rather well - plenty of Farming Silverware - and looks really fit after a long Rugby career . Pleasing to hear that farming has worked out so well for him.
Its worth a watch if you get chance .

Re: BBC Countryfile
I watched it on iPlayer and enjoyed seeing Julian again.
What amused me was the reaction from family who couldn't believe how well spoken he is.
Somehow, they thought that such a hard nut would be a "gor blymy" .
Had I bothered to tell them, I could have revealed years ago, he is anything but.
Can anyone remember other Tigers who were farmers? Other than Dusty, of course?

Jon Wells was a farmer.
I watched on Iplayer & was highly amused, it does seem a long way from belting glass jaw Sheridan....
Good on him, its a hard profession, love the idea of a cow as a present!

Re: BBC Countryfile
Julian came to buy a Christmas tree from me last year. I was suprised how big he is. He still has that stature which says "don't mess with me" and he's an incredible guy too. One of my all time favourite rugby players. Ever.
