If Itoje is worth that then what would Retallick be on?
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Any evidence of that other than personal opinion please?

It isn’t personal opinion let’s just leave it at that.

It almost seems Sarries don't even care about making it look non suspect anymore...the players they have and re-sign to massive deals just seems ridiculous

That's what happens when a salary cap audit is brushed under the carpet!JackFlashJonny wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:14 amIt almost seems Sarries don't even care about making it look non suspect anymore...the players they have and re-sign to massive deals just seems ridiculous

Itoje will be the marquee player replacing Burger by the time this contract comes into action.
The questioning of Sarries getting around the cap is justified but this contract is irrelevant to it to be fair. In fact, Itoje moving into the marquee spot if freeing up a significant chunk of the cap for Sarries to invest elsewhere.

Not right re "secretarial work" - would come under - (b) in relation to a Player:ellis9 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:18 amThat's what happens when a salary cap audit is brushed under the carpet!JackFlashJonny wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:14 amIt almost seems Sarries don't even care about making it look non suspect anymore...the players they have and re-sign to massive deals just seems ridiculous
(i) any family member, dependent, civil partner or cohabitee of that Player,
where family member shall mean, in relation to that Player:
(A) a spouse or civil partner or any other person living with that Player
in an enduring family relationship;
Am sure you were tongue in cheek Ellis.
Would also have have home grown player credits and EPS credits - see rule 3.2 Senior Ceiling credits
It is the first time I have looked at what is available outside the cap as "credit" and it is quite a large sum particularly for EPS home grown players
Hehehehehehehehe

If, as rumoured, Kitch and Fitz are off. A second row of Spencer and Launchbury, with Wells on the bench, would be up there with the best. Worst case scenario, we lose Spencer and Launch to England, we would have Wells, Lewis, Voss and Jordan. Short in experience and numbers, but new signings in the row are a must.
I’d take Launch any day of the week. We’re struggling to win matches when we have an international packed squad. Bringing him in would at least give us a fighting chance to bully opponents and give GF front foot ball to do what he does. A fit back five of any of the following - Spencer, Launchbury, Wells, Denton, Thomson, Kala, Evans (add in other potential new signings) - would bring muscle and lineout functionality, which we desperately need.

Evans is definitely gone according to some.

According to some, the earth's flat and the moon landing was a fake! I prefer my facts verified.
