More money than offered at Chiefs?
That's a big loss as that guy is a menace but yes his star has risen and I guess they've been priced out.

They've got Hogg to come in though!

Cordero was never going to stay at chiefs once Hogg came, chiefs didn't really try to keep him despite him wanting to stay.

Bath Rugby can confirm that Rhys Priestland is set to leave the Club at the end of the season.

Priestland joined the Club in 2015 and has made over 60 appearances for the Blue, Black and White since his arrival from Welsh side Scarlets.

Director of Rugby, Todd Blackadder, said: “Rhys has been an influential figure not only on the field but in his leadership off the field over the last four years.

“There’s still a lot of rugby to play between now and the end of the season, and I have no doubt he’ll play a key role in the next six months.”

If someone could explain to me just how Sale are paying for all their current crop + potential signings despite revenue being barely 40% of ours, that would be grand.

Wealthy owners and they have always been well within the cap some say as much as £2million under

Sale are not using 100% of the salary cap and from what I heard never have up until this point, they recently got a big cash injection and are now looking to splash the cash

Sale have a lot of cap spare.

A really small playing squad + spend hardly anything in the front row currently.

Refreshing to hear Baxter come out and say with the limitations of the salary cap, they couldn’t afford to keep Cordero.
