Hopefully not, but with Hardwick and Costelow coming up something might have to give potentially.
Just pointless what if's but something to keep in mind.
Possibly. I think Hardwick will become more of a 12 that can cover 10. Given we like to play with two playmakers anyway he could be a good fit in the midfield with Costelow playing understudy to Ford.
Similarly it depends how Geordan chooses to go in the backrow. If we start to look at a more dynamic combination then there's options that include Evans alongside someone like Gough or Reffell who are a bit bigger (website has Gough at 16 stone already Reffell a couple of pounds over that). If we are going to persist with a unit at 8 and effectively another lock at 6 then we will be seeing some of those young opensides move on.

£500k?! That's stupid money.
Agreed, if I was paying £500k for a 2nd row I'd want Eben Etzabeth or Brodie Retallick

If you had £500K to spend on a second row you wouldn't get Etzabeth or Retallick..... unless no-one else wanted them.

Saints in talks with
JJ
Kriel
Crotty
Procter
According to the mail.
Which if true means that they are still not that close to signing someone.

Sounds like they want a marquee centre and are sounding out some agents over ability and potential cost.
Not sure it's the best way to spend their money personally what with their underpowered pack but there you go.

Saints back 5 whilst highly mobile is still relatively lightweight for the scrum.

Do you think Sopoaga will leave Wasps early and return to New Zealand?

Not for the money they are paying him, and his buddy Fekitoa going to them.

That and the lack of £££ at Wasps presumably. Do we believe the rumours (including the ones about heading back to London) or is that too much to hope for?
