Yes he did a bit today of exactly what I thought he wasn't doing enough of, attacking the line, and what do you know Leicester won, funny that ain't it! :smt023

He is leading by example and now the team, like they did today, need to follow his example.
Burns was a favourite but Ford is class.

Cipriani is class with attitude.
Fords goalkicking has improved out of all proportion-very valuable
Ciprianis kicking isnt as reliable.
Yes, with Fords excellent goal kicking, Eddie Jones can drop Farrell from the England side.

Thought he was on top form today - led the line, tackled, passed and kicked very well, and he covered virtually every blade of grass.
Afterwards, he walked the entire perimeter applauding the fans.Jonah also played well, but I thought Fordy should have got the MoM.

Thoughts he was the class apart in the game. His kicking out of hand is fantastic we just need to work on the line outs!

I thought he had a good game against Bath, as well as Quins.

Agree. Was our best back, probably our MOM. Not looking forward to Eastmond's return. Will cut Ford's options.

Ford has done some good stuff in the last couple of matches, runners and ball over and through the line, he has used his pace against the line well and it has been more threatening when he has done this, flat footing defenders.
Just need to get things ticking over smoothly with more continuity and hopefully lead to a more accurate and clinical outfit.
Ball and chances were always likely to be limited away at Bath, that's the same for most teams.
If they get it right against Gloucester then they can win well and Ford can be at the heart of this, but he shouldn't stand off too much in my opinion, pick his moments.

And Ford should be captain, too.

George ford has been our most consistent player this season and his commitment and pride in the jersey is an example for some others to follow

GF being made captain has sparked a new desire in him.
Talking more and demanding from his team mates. Leading by example.
As discussed seams to be we are a team of individuals rather than the collective.
Oh come the day when we play as a unified team. Its due......if not overdue....

GF is undoubtedly the best player in the squad, alongside JM and arguably a better ten than Farrell. He's now showing real leadership qualities, the fault certainly doesn't lie with him.

Think GF has been pivotal this season. Heard rumours of unrest and that he might be on his way up North. Anyone heard anything?

Nah, he's going nowhere. Sale might have the cap space but by all accounts have already signed Rob du Preez as their flyhalf for next season. Really they need to keep spending on their tight five. He's not going to go to Falcons given the mess they are in, they're doing worse than us.
