According to The Rugby Paper, he plays 10, 12 and 15.
If that's correct then next season we will see a backline of:
Youngs
Ford
Du Preez
Tuilagi
May
Holmes
Veainu
Not bad!

Why will he play more at Sale? He can play 12 apparently so will be Toomuas replacement.

Sale have been desperate for a flyhalf to take control of their backline since Cipriani left. McGinty has been poor and they seemingly don't want James O'Connor to play there. If he goes to Sale he'll play week in week out at 10. If he signs for us he'll be back up 10 and contend for the 12 shirt with Eastmond. From what I've seen he's a 10 first and foremost but I've not seen that much.

Any expectations when we’ll hear a final outcome of the whole Manu contract saga? Supposedly held discussions with the club Nov/Dec time. If he’s not keen on the offer on the table surely they’ll be an annoucement soon-ish?

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4
Adding all three Du Preez brothers would really set us off on the right foot. Equally if we have secured Dan already, does that give extra leverage on getting the others, assuming they all want to play together. As for the Robert playing 12 issue, if he sees the way we try and play with Toomua as a second distributor then maybe he will see that as a good option.
If we were to get those three, we’d only be another second row, and some added depth at 13 & back three short of being where we need to be.
Genge, Polota-Nau, Cole, Spencer, New 2nd Row, JL Du Preez, Thompson, D Du Preez, Youngs, Ford, May, R Du Preez, Tuilagi, Holmes, Veianu.
Youngs, Bateman, Leatigaga, Wells/Green, Kalamafoni, Harrison, Hardwick/Eastmond, Olowofela/New Back Three.

As Geordan has said that will be down to loyalty and possibly playing for England. Tigers won’t offer him the money he is on now but playing for England @ £20k a game will make up for that. Depends on what Toulon and Lyon are offering, he also has to take into account the feelings of his partner and baby
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4
If another Prem club signed him then he'd have to fit under the cap as well, the rules working in Tigers favour there. Even on less then he's earning now it would be tough for a Prem side to offer more and fit it under the cap you'd imagine.Mark62 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 30, 2018 11:05 amAs Geordan has said that will be down to loyalty and possibly playing for England. I think he will sign another contract. He looks to be enjoying his rugby again and has a shot at more England caps and a RWC. Having missed the last Lions tour he may fancy a crack at SA 2021, playing international rugby would make that possible.

But still weakness at full-back. May, Holmes and Veainu are all excellent wingers who can cover full-back. Still room for an out and out 15, perhaps Worth will develop into one?ellis9 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 11:22 pmAccording to The Rugby Paper, he plays 10, 12 and 15.
