I can’t imagine us getting Walker, Varndell and Sarto. I’d imagine possibly 2 but 3? Anyhow looking forward to another Popcorn day.

Because it's about having the right number of bodies and blend of youth and breadth of experience within the squad?

Surely Walker would be better than Varndell! When was the last time he even played in the premiership?

Callum Green fine but am I alone in thinking that Leatigaga is not a top class prop - one of the true "fat boys" and would not get anywhere near the bench when everyone is fit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df43uefUQeY
Hehehehehehehehe

Don't worry he'll have a full pre season with Boris before the AP starts. Fe'ao was supposedly a bit of a liability at the scrum but under Boris's instruction he's been good for us. If he could just get fit and avoid knocking the ball on in the opposition 22 he'd be a real asset.trendylfj wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 5:50 pm Callum Green fine but am I alone in thinking that Leatigaga is not a top class prop - one of the true "fat boys" and would not get anywhere near the bench when everyone is fit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df43uefUQeY

The rugby paper are saying we have signed Dan du Preez and are after Rob and Jean Luc.

I've heard he's Louws replacement at Bath!

Jean Luc will be in demand, he was awesome for Sale vs Gloucester so they'll want to keep him, I can't see Robert joining us when he could probably get paid more to play more at Sale

I reckon Louw will get another contract TBH.
Especially with not playing international rugby after the world cup.
That kind of experience is hard to come by and as Smith and Burger has shown Back rowers are still Prem class at 35+, Louw is looking good at 8 as well.
If Louw is leaving Bath I wouldn't mind Tigers looking at him TBH.
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4
He is but I'd say Robert Du Preez is more likely to compete for a place with Mcginty than almost certainly play 2nd fiddle to FordRagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 10:12 pmDon't know about play more, AJ McGinity is loved at Sale.

How good is he at 12 though?
