What so people are hearing that Fitzgerald, Kitchener, Williams and O'Connor might be leaving. Although hearing Williams is 100% off to Bath.

Couldn’t really complain about any of them to be honest. Can see the reasoning and logic for each one.RagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 7:11 pm What so people are hearing that Fitzgerald, Kitchener, Williams and O'Connor might be leaving. Although hearing Williams is 100% off to Bath.

As long as there's 3 better replacements coming in! BoC is the only one who imo can be replaced in house

Kitchener is an outstanding lineout jumper and still pulls off one or two great catches but he’s not the player he used to be when we had Parling, Croft and Gibson alongside him, all great lineout options.
At the moment, apart from Kitchener I would only say that Mapapalangi and Williams are our only good lineout options, although Wells and Spencer aren’t bad (Wellsy is pretty good at the steal).

Would make the rumours of Green, and latterly Sam Carter make a whole world of sense if Kitch is off.

Bit harsh on Denton who I would argue is the best lineout jumper at the club, hence why he’s at the front on opposition ball.JP14 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 8:05 am Kitchener is an outstanding lineout jumper and still pulls off one or two great catches but he’s not the player he used to be when we had Parling, Croft and Gibson alongside him, all great lineout options.

Also Spencer I would say is just as good as Kitchener in the lineout, both as jumper and caller. Whilst Kitchener is still great in the lineout, the rest of his game has seriously gone backwards over the last two seasons.

Totally agree - think Spencer is our best middle and Denton best at both the front and the back - don't rate Mapapalangi at allLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 8:41 amBit harsh on Denton who I would argue is the best lineout jumper at the club, hence why he’s at the front on opposition ball.JP14 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 8:05 am Kitchener is an outstanding lineout jumper and still pulls off one or two great catches but he’s not the player he used to be when we had Parling, Croft and Gibson alongside him, all great lineout options.

Thompson and BoC are very able too,in fact we've got some very good options if we can fix our lineout woes!
