Ok so have Tigers told Dunn he is surplus to requirements or does Dunn believe he can get into Wasps first team quicker than he can get into ours, even though Toomua is leaving and opens up a gap for him?

Can see nowhere that states the Dunn signed was a centre - discussion about centre or flankers, younger or older so thought I was just attempting to clear up the confusion - perhaps

David Flatman on TV talking sense about young players leaving clubs and becoming good players.
"It's very easy to say that x club shouldn't have let them go in hindsight but the reality is, there are better, more experienced players ahead of them. Sometimes this just happens, young players leave to get more game time at a club that is struggling in a certain position and would you believe it, some of them do really, really well and that is the way it works unfortunately."

Where do the Irish teams get their unknown upcoming stars from? We need Geordan to pop over to Ireland, seek out some of his countrymen.

They're unknown to us not to them. They have a production line of talent that play the Leinster systems in the A team then the league games then on to the European games. When you've got such a good culture and defined style of play it's easier for players to come in and settle. Saracens are able to do similar though to less explosive effect.

Leicester had plenty of lads of that potential knocking around, they missed out to often for the connected etc.
Ask folk from Melton about the potential of young Wood as a teenager, lightning quick with footwork to match, overlooked to often and just generally kept down, he was a super talent for full time development in my opinion!
I've seen it with potential front rows as well, the blokes down at Hinckley will tell you how good the young lad was who joined the forces just over a couple years ago and how big his potential was to develop, just turned 18 and they couldn't believe how good he was and how good he could be!
Gone on for years and I could go on, but hopefully that will change!
RagingBull suggested next year will be a sign, and it will, if certain names get it then nothing has changed!

Fissler saying that we have signed Dan du Perez to replace Mike Williams.
Good signing that IMO a good number 8 as well.

Sign him and his twin brother together and that would sort the pack out in short order. Both monsters, although his brother is the better player.RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun Dec 16, 2018 7:59 am Fissler saying that we have signed Dan du Perez to replace Mike Williams.

The Mail Online are reporting Manu wanting to stay as a one club man at Tigers and that Will Evans is on his way to Quins having been unable to secure a regular fist team slot. Someone with the technical skills may be able to sHare

With Reffell and Gough coming through wouldn't be surprised if Evans goes.
Good player but how can he be expecting first team starting time whilst only just coming back from a major injury.

TUILAGI'S HEART WITH TIGERS
Manu Tuilagi wants to finish his career as a one-club Leicester Tigers stalwart.
The England centre is out of contract at the end of the season but is negotiating a new deal — along with a potential testimonial year.
Asked this week if he expects to always be at Leicester, the 27-year-old answered: ‘Yes, absolutely’.
Lyon are understood to have offered Tuilagi a £600,000 deal in France.
Meanwhile another Leicester academy product could be on his way out of Welford Road with Harlequins closing in on a move for Will Evans. The 21-year-old flanker has failed to establish himself as a regular starter with the Tigers.
