Which seven forwards are going to get around the park quick enough to retain phase ball and who's going to deliver quick enough ball to get on the front foot and who's going to break the line for Thacker to finish!
Slater?

Genuine question. Who is Ged Glynn and what is his background to make him suitable (or not) for the role he has or that of a would be DOR. His pedigree does not stand out as suitable to me.

Joking aside it’s almost criminal we let them go! Absolute farce whoever has been in charge during the decline in our playing squad over the last few years.

Absolutely criminal etc etc. We hear the same arguments all the time, but sorry, he wanted a better chance of establishing himself as the starting TH at a Premiership club, as Thacker is trying to do at Bristol, probably on a pay rise too. In front of them were International players who were all round better packages at the time - just as Flood was over Ford all those years ago...

So if Australia now do not want Jake White as Head Coach then could he be enticed to come here as DOR? Cheika is apparently at a Rugby Clinic in the Lebanon ~ having a "check up!" :smt023

I think you're right.
Anyone think Flood is still better than Ford? I do!
Enter Mavis9... :smt035
We are scrapping like hyenas to be honest, I mean if we were talking about Jamie George or Maro Itoje as established losses, or Nick Isiekwe or Max Malins as younger losses then it'd be worth arguing about, but quite frankly we weren't that good when those we keep complaining about losing were here!

Whichever empty head on the board thought letting Thacker go and spending loads of money on TPN needs jetisoning immediately!

Tigers needed to have him focus more on Openside in the academy, instead of a certain someone wanting him to follow in his footsteps position wise and therefore losing some very promising 2's in the process and Thacker could've easily become a Cloete type openside.

Yep I agree, would've protected those knees more and saved from an extra bashing as well, class player, poor scrummager.
Can't have one player dictate how an entire team plays.
Look at where Leicester is now, confused.
He helps improve Bristol but he helped make Leicester worse.

If you go on rugby statbunker, you can view the squads for any premiership season. Looking at the 16/17 squad, we had a good group of players, which made it to the play offs and narrowly lost to Wasps.

Since then, the premiership has become much more competitive. Unfortunately the squad has also been in decline since then so it’s no wonder we’re struggling at the minute.

The 16/17 squad also got hammered
42-13 v Glasgow
38 -0 v Munster
34-3 v Racing
0-43 v Glasgow

That team was lucky about the weakness of the other prem teams that we made it too the play-offs.

That squad was already a decline, it was declining from 2013/14 onwards.

We do not want Jake White at Tigers, makes Mayers rugby look like the Harlem Globetrotters, the worse Super Rugby game ever was between Whites then & previous sides...has done sweet :censored: Adams since RWC 2011, which was arguably poor & Eddie Jones can claim as much credit.
We should pay whatever & get Steve Hansen & just let him sort it out from top to bottom.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

I’d say 2008/09 onwards in European terms albeit we competed with the best domestically for a few more years
