Is the Etzebeth proposal an indication that Manu may be off? The large amount of money has to be found somewhere, not just from Matt’s wedge. Could we be looking for two marquee players? Are any of the existing squad likely to be made marquee players? Now that Cole seems to be off the England radar, is he going to be looking for a big payday elsewhere?

One thing is for sure, Tigers need to start performing consistently if marquee players are to be attracted to the club.

Oops!

Maybe after tonight (Scarlets), we should make sure we keep Manu?

The drop in weight and in how he's being used making a big difference. Each game he plays the confidence is coming back and we're seeing more of the old Manu. Just hope England don't break him.

Manu always gets better with a run of games...less weight = more speed & less strain on rest of body. Used right he is a real threat, he doesn't even need the ball to cause trouble, the running line & good lines from others & in Ford & Toomua we have the ability to use him as the ideal defense attractor, the best of that is he doesn't get contact & the eventually the opposition ignore him & bang your playmakers give him the ball....simples, but it requires the evidence of previous games to make it work.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Toomua showed his class when he came on, must start him at 12, dont let him leave, but I dont know how to drop Eastmond though?

I'm a huge fan of Matt Toomua, I think he's a superb rugby player but it's pretty much confirmed he's off in the summer is it not?
I saw Marika Vunibaka play

Tigers cannot compete with the RWC draw simple as that.

Toomua won’t be staying.

I didn’t think the Etzebeth rumour had any truth in it, I’m happy with a lock pairing of Williams, Spencer and Wells with the like of Jordan and Martin to come through.

34 next October. Two years in Japan I presume. European seasons would be harsh on him and it's not like he hasn't had injury problems.

Make you wonder why the Tigers sign these players knowing that they will be dragged off and not turn out every weekend?

Whilst Exeter have a settled squad I would say their form in Europe prob highlights the need for that International star dust.

Trouble is you need to make sure you have the back up to fill for them which is something we have failed at with Manu and Toomua.

Chalrie Ewels being linked with us and Saracens if Bath and him can't agree on a contract, Saracens makes no sense unless Kruis or Isiekwe are being let go of (Kruis has 3 seasons to go Isiekwe is out of contract end of next season) if so would like to see Tigers target them.
