Sure we have a chance and a win in Belfast is long overdue. How much can we read in to Ulster's iffy form of late? Not much, probably as sure as night follows day, they'll be up for this. Former wing Andrew Trimble has said that this will be the easiest of their pool games - and he's probably right, but let's hope that that'll fire Tigers up and make him eat his words!Soggypitch wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 12:16 pm I think we have a chance tomorrow night, it's a bit like last week, very hard to predict, but we have the squad to produce a good performance, just need to execute!!

Re: Ulster v Tigers
Has there been any update on Veainu's injury? Was it a concussion from that clearance to the face he took or something more?

Concussion AFAIK, he was pictured training this week, maybe he isn’t quite readyCitizenSmiff wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 12:30 pm Has there been any update on Veainu's injury? Was it a concussion from that clearance to the face he took or something more?

Lewis will go in the row if necessary. At least Spencer is back next weekSoggypitch wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 12:16 pm Who would go into the row if we get an injury, Lewis? We really are struggling at lock presently.....
Great to see the Aussies, BOC and Gareth back. Shame no Denton, May or TV, hopefully all will be ok for Scarlets next week, we'll need our best available for that game!

Answering questions on LTTV on the competition for places, Toomua said he'd "play anywhere".Mark62 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 12:43 pmLewis will go in the row if necessary. Confirmed as concussion by Geordan a while ago. Also Geordan said midweek that he is training but not yet doing contactMark62 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 12:38 pmConcussion AFAIK, he was pictured training this week, maybe he isn’t quite readyCitizenSmiff wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 12:30 pm Has there been any update on Veainu's injury? and going through the necessary return to play protocols.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!
Re: Ulster v Tigers
Good team, really hope we get the win, love the faith given to Olowofela, Reffell, Heyes and Lewis. Mapapalangi is either injured or perhaps he reacted badly to when he was subbed at Twickenham.

Re: Ulster v Tigers
Looked short of game time, he is a talent, lot of strapping /padding on arm could of been a reason for defensive issues, any player who gets hooked like he did should look peeved any other reaction would be worse
To win is not as important as playing with style!
Re: Ulster v Tigers
I hope that anyone coming over to Belfast for the game has a good time. I will apologise in advance that if you want a pint of Guinness, you will have to get one either before heading to the ground or after. Your choices in the ground are Heineken/Murphys/Orchard Thieves.
Can only get a Guinness at a league game.

Re: Ulster v Tigers
Mapapalangi is talent but he needs to seriously work on his defence, personally I think it’s a lack of technique (coming from a Southern Hemisphere team) and also I think it’s laziness.
