Is he fit? If Will Evans is fit then there must be a temptation to bring him onto the bench against Wasps who are so competitive at the breakdown.
even if he is fit he hasn't played a game since Bath and he had to spend a reasonable amount of time off his legs.
Who needs preseason. BOC and Bateman had injury issues over the summer and didn't play before the first game and they both started.

We don't know what the state of play is at training. He could be pulling up trees this week for all we know. Reffell played plenty of preseason and played pretty well, I'd quite like to see him involved.
Yeah they started in the first game...look what happened there

To be honest, not EXPECTING a win but if we persist with "we're gonna score one more than you" rugby, who knows?

Stingray rugby the old man calls it "Anything could happen in the next half hour".

For those of you whipper-snappers who didn't know Troy Tempest was really Jamie Roberts or who didn't know that WASPS stands for World Aquanaut Security Patrols (16 seconds in)...

Marina was modelled on Bridget Bardot and Troy Tempest modelled on James Garner.

Good XV, pity Eastmond couldn’t make it. Both teams don’t have the best of benches with injuries so should be interesting.

Guessing Reffell is injured as would have thought he would have made the bench over Lewis which is a shame. Never know Lewis could be pulling up trees in training.

I respect Murphy's trust in the younger players something other coaches have not really had.

Big test for some but it can make a player.

Interesting that Murphy is showing the faith in the development squad again, 7/8 bench players are Academy graduates !

If Simmons is fit I'm amazed that White has been preferred ahead of him . Equally puzzled that Hardwick has not been given another go at 12 - did well last week and at least his pairing with tuilagi had a bit of practice . Still , if Owen lasts as long as usual he'll be on fairly soon in the game .

Pleased to see the academy guys get a shout.

We have injuries and the second row is a worry for me as the line out has been frail, and we've no genuine 7. I'm sure Mike can heave in a scrum.

What can't be helped must be endured.
