I'm optimistic

Its nearly are full first team only Genge and TPN would normally start.

This will give us a really good insight into our team and how good it is against the best.

When I look at our backs we have nearly all internationals and great replacements all of which most teams would want!!

Are our players fit? Know it's first game of season but most of the forwards are gulping in breath. Apart from that seems same old same old.

This could be a bit of a pasting. We look shattered already. Denton looks good but Spencer looks on his chinstrap. This is the start expected but we need to start getting the ball and going through some phases.

Very dissapointing can't win a line out, cannot retain possession and kick all our ball away. Seems the MOC blueprint is to the fore and seems lije we have to suffer yet another season of this dross.

How we are only losing by 8 is quite amazing. We have been dominated. Our forwards were exhausted after 25 minutes, they aren't fit. The only saving grace is that the score is close somehow, so we still have a chance.

Absolute rubbish - line out a shambles , tactics just bizarre. Why not play straight into Exeter’s strengths by kicking the ball away. The few times we have kept the ball more than 1 phase Denton and others have broken the gain line.

Groundhog day, can't win a lineout and missed first up tackles. Manu and Toomua are using a different playbook to everyone else and not in a good way.

1st impressions

Team patently not nearly fit enough. Half of them are puffing like billygoats

Tuilagi so far out of it-yet again-i cant believe he will finish the season. His defence is utterly chronic, any tackle he makes is inconsequential and he gets tied up as if he's happier not to be in the firing line. Hope I'm wrong...

Ford not controlling the back play any which way.....

Line out has been shocking. Did we practice this during pre season?? Well I think we will improve this half. A bit annoyed if we lose but it’s not a surprise, but a bit more fight would be a bonus.

Exeter are just playing at a different speed, in every aspect. The only reason we are still in it is by slowing the game down as much as possible and hoping for a few lucky breaks.

Poor - getting mullered now, again some of the players don't look that interested. Looks like we could be relegation contenders this year. :smt009
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Well, based on that it's going to be a :censored: long season, no game plan, no fitness, only the new boys looking to be playing for the shirt (I'm sure "some senior players" will soon train them out of that and into the new tigers way) :smt013
No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?
