Just something I heard, which hasn't meant much recently TBH.
It would make sense as a signing. We all know the starting centres full strength, but with the international windows, Toomua will be playing 10.
Have to feel that Smith and Tait are there for their experience in the squad next season.
Plus Owen and Tuilagi we all know probably won’t be fit for every match. Therefore, with Worth and Owen battling it out for the 12 shirt, Macken would prove premiership quality depth at 13. Plus he won’t be breaking the bank.

Was kind of hinting earlier in the thread.
There was a lot of hype around Macken when he first came into the first team with Leinster. I remember a few years back a Leinster fan telling me that they'd got some young lads McFadden and Macken that would play for Ireland. He was half right. Unsure whether it's been injuries or early potential not fulfilled but he's been a decent squad player for Wasps and at 27 has plenty still to add. Just hope Worth and Hardwick still get development game time.
The Tongan prop looks promising. I presume our Tongan contingent and MOC know him well enough to know if he's got what it takes and whether his character will fit in with the squad.
Pretty much. Although don't think Faeo has worked with MOC, I think he was with Brisbane city whilst MOC was with the Reds though.
Pretty sure the Wade rumour was never on.
We are in talks with some players for after RWC but that is a while to go still yet.
I expect the odd signing during the season as more trail signings.
I'm interested to see the development squad changes, I have an idea who has been promoted but not 100% sure.
The chatter in France is that Mafi has signed an extension with Castres rather than go to Paris.
Honestly Macken and Faeo would fill in the main gaps left, maybe another 14/15.
