Greenwood and Woodward both stated that 9 10 and Farrell are not quick enough, except in limited staccato bursts, and all should be dropped for the 3rd Test

May about the only player that has shown anything on this tour - poor all round.

Mako needs to be dropped next week - needs to learn to stop giving away stupid penalties.

Hoping Genge is fit for next weekend and given a run-out. Need someone with some go forward in the team.
Genge sustained a knee injury in training and its likely he will miss the final test according to Google news.

This illustrates why Jones normally plays him all the time and often for the full 80 minutes.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

This whole Ben Youngs thing is a joke.

1. He did nothing wrong.
2. People are too easily offended
3. Why do people jump on band wagons?
4. He has apologised but there was nothing to apologise for. The only reason there's an apology is because of point 2.

Just a thought - how much is the Aviva league to blame for producing players who are just not 'up to the job' due to the constant battering and bish-bash of the league, week in; week out?
Our league had no representation in the latter stages of the Champions Cup and these last 5 or 6 England games have shown that our league is off the pace when producing fast and dynamic teams, as in the Pro 14 - Leinster, Scarlets, Munster etc.
Just wondering.

One thing for me that has been emphasised in the 2 tests so far is how inept the line officials are in the English prem. If they picked up the issues that the players are getting pinged for these last 2 weeks which they get away with every week in the prem then perhaps we wouldn't be giving away so many stupid penalties. :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

Maybe it's not the officials themselves...maybe it's the direction they work to....

Different agendas between SA tour and week in week out prem.

So obvious that players were either very tired, injured or out of condition from being played too soon. Pro14 top teams play half the number of matches, and as many Welsh/Irish/Scots who play in the AP have noted, wouldn't cut it in the AP because they would be reduced to sub-Wuss levels by Xmas. The French either have two first XVs or surrender away from home. So, yes, the AP has a lot to answer for, but so do the old farts, currently getting rid of the troops at HQ, by setting up internationals and tours when the players need rest.
As far as the reffing is concerned, if you don;t recognise horses for courses, well.......I think AP lineohs are slack, I think they should be far more severe about the Laws, but so is SH reffing UNLESS it is a foreign opposition. Refs alter their mode of operation when dictated to do so (part from Barnes or Owens...).
Let's be honest, part of this current squad is pants and EJ is doing a headless chicken impersonation with selection, which really caps the whole farrago.

Premiership Rugby tweeting "Ellis Genge has flown back to England following a knee injury he picked up earlier this week. Alec Hepburn will join the squad. Mako Vunipola travels back to London for family reasons which were agreed ahead of the tour."

The amount of training injuries is getting stupid now, if its serious 2 prem clubs could be without their 1st choice looseheads for a large part of the upcoming season due to needless injury
