I like the flag for capped players, more and more clubs seem to be doing thisJP14 wrote: ↑Sat May 12, 2018 5:39 pm Still Kukri, a select group of senior forum members and fans have already chosen a design according to the Facebook Group. In my opinion, I would like to see two stars above the logo to represent the fact that we have won two Heineken Cups (although that might not reside well with Bakewell who wants to create a new culture) and also teams like Bath have international player’s jerseys have a flag on their jersey if they have been internationally capped; I’d like to see that with Tigers, don’t know how other people on here would feel about that though?

No pretentious stars and no flags. Just green, red and white (and orange whilst we have Stihl!).
Re: New Kit 2018-19
Last year kit was so much smarter than this years. I hope to see an improvement this year.
Re: New Kit 2018-19
I prefer 2016/17 kit rather than 2017/18 kit
Re: New Kit 2018-19
The 2016-17 kit was unspectacular, unoriginal and a panicky design to the reaction of the 2015-16 kit which in my opinion was the far better kit (both home and away).
The 2017-18 kit was suave, niche and an accurate representation of the coveted stripes without being too over-the-top.

I have to say the new Gloucester kit is pretty nice, not sold on the logo change though https://twitter.com/gloucesterrugby/sta ... 4179132416

Utterly naff. But I increasingly realise that -at 54- I am part of another generation.JP14 wrote: ↑Sat May 12, 2018 5:39 pm Still Kukri, a select group of senior forum members and fans have already chosen a design according to the Facebook Group. Nothing to do with generation JWM. I'm a few weeks short of 62 and agree with JP14.JWM wrote: ↑Wed May 16, 2018 1:13 amUtterly naff. Re: New Kit 2018-19
Forum members were shown a selection of designs and colours and individually ticked the ones we liked, we are told that the majority of us had a similar opinion and this was taken into account on selection of the final design, I have no further knowledge of what was chosen (apart from colour that is). A forum member did raise the question of the stars but I am not sure if this was taken on board.

When you consider the number of ex Tigers at Glous, and the fact that they have copied Tigers for the type of hybrid pitch being laid - well why should they not try to copy Tigers badge if they are homesick!kpj tiger wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 3:38 pm I have to say the new Gloucester kit is pretty nice, not sold on the logo change though https://twitter.com/gloucesterrugby/sta ... 4179132416
